Bob Bieniek

Bob was born in the small farm community in Indiana. When he was 4, Bob’s family left the farm and relocated to Ft. Lauderdale, where he spent his childhood years in the bustling city. In high school, Bob began his 15 year career with Sears. While working for Sears, Bob received his AA Degree in Business Administration from Santa Fe Community College, his BA Degree in Business Management from the University of Florida, and began his career in real estate. Bob was awarded the Outstanding Student Leadership Award by the Florida Blue Key Society for his involvement and leadership in student activities. He was the founding president of the business fraternity Phi Beta Lambda at Santa Fe Community College. He was a graduate of and graduate assistant for the Dale Carnegie course, ‘Public Speaking and Human Relations‘, and he belonged to Toastmasters International.

In 1986 Bob married Marie Waters also a graduate of the University of Florida. Together they purchased 20 acres of farmland, and built their home…successfully fulfilling a dream that many of his customers are in search of. Today, they raised their two children, Andrew and Shannon, on their farm. The children loved living in the country with the farm animals, wildlife, live oaks and basically the space and freedom to explore and have fun. Bob’s hobbies include motorcycles and water sports, especially fishing.

Bob opened Alachua Properties in 1993 after working in real estate for about 10 years. Since opening his company, Bob has filled several leadership roles on the Gainesville Board of Realtors. He has been a board director, and he has served on the Grievance Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. Bob Served on the Board of Adjustments for Alachua County as well. Bob takes pride in Alachua Properties’ ability to have an office with a small town atmosphere, and prompt, professional and courteous service.
